Augmented and virtual reality technology is powerful and advancing its capabilities every year. Learning, training, gaming, and healthcare are only a few areas where augmented and virtual reality is making an impact. The AR/VR market is expected to reach $766 billion by 2025 growing at a 73.7% compound annual growth rate.
COVID has changed how students engage with content and how employees engage with colleagues. Education technology exploded in 2019 at a 19.9% compound annual growth rate and expected to be a $318 billion industry by 2027. Companies, organizations and cultural institutions are aggressively investing in digital and immersive programs to capture families in their homes.
Technology will continue to help businesses with training, advertising, educating, and selling. Technology has to be more than technology though; it has to have an emotional appeal and incredible function to be effective. The U.S. tech industry is a $5 trillion opportunity and had greatly expanded from 1998 when there were only 7.4 million people working in the IT indsutry.
